Employment history
Twenty five years of work experience. First as an assistant auditor (1 year, Van Dien & Co, now Deloitte, Amsterdam), then 7 years at medium large accountancy and consulting firm Horlings/Nexia International (1989-1996). In 1996-1997 I worked for Ernst & Young as senior consultant. In 1997 I started my own firm, Vergouw Consulting.
Consulting Experience
Some highlights after 25 years of activity in the field of consulting
- creating management games/serious games for several multinationals (2004-2011), training professionals in the field of CRM (Customer Relationship Management); These games have been played in over 40 countries for employees coming out of over 60 countries on five continents; average participants score (N>100) april-juli 2011: 8,9 (out of 10);
- proces manager of the decomposition and restructuring of Arbeidsvoorziening (2000-2002), splitting the company up in five separate parts;
- project manager for Inspection on Enforcement of Welfare Benefits in one of the big 4 Dutch Cities;
- hundreds of key note speaker session, chairman of seminars, workshops, speeches et cetera around the globe (1996-current), on Change Management, Financial Management, Cultural Change, CRM, Governance and Compliance.

Professionalisationprize, Vrije Universiteit 2007, for ‘lasting contribution to the Dutch Consultancy profession’.
